PBX System Users: Often large entities, such as hospitals, universities, hotels, etc., use a main telecommunications network called a PBX system. (If you have to dial 9 to reach an outside line, you are most likely using a PBX system.) To see if you have 511-access, get an outside line and dial 511. If you do not connect to the 511 system, check with your phone vendor/provider to ensure that that the system is 511-ready. Note: If you can dial 411 or 911, you are most likely already able to access 511.

Wireless

  • AT&T Wireless
  • Sprint/Nextel
  • T-Mobile
  • Verizon
  • Alltel
  • Cricket
